Rotary Blenheim 10k – on race day
The 2010 race will take place on Sunday 17 October 2010, starting at 10.30am.
Late Registration and late entry pickup
Runners arriving on the day to pay late entry fees must go to the Late Registration Area in the white marquee. We shall email any runners whose running numbers were not despatched before Race Day to ask them to collect their packs on the day at a collection table in the Late Registration Area. Please also note you should allow at least 5 minutes to move from the Registration Area to the start line.
Admission to Blenheim Palace
In some past years runners and spectators have been granted free access to and parking in Blenheim Park, although parking restrictions may apply depending upon the weather. Details of access and parking will appear here nearer the time and/or be sent out with race packs.
Marshals
Marshals will be identifiable by their yellow Woodstock Rotary Club tabards. They will be providing car park assistance (please arrive well before 10.15am to avoid congestion). They will be providing late entry facilities and will be sited at strategic points on the course.
Changing and toilet facilities
Limited changing facilities will be available. Toilets are near to the finish.
First aid
St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the course and at the finish point.
Water stations
Water stations will be provided at approximately the 4k-point, the 7k-point, and at the finish.
Results service
A computerised results service will provide print-outs of runners' times at regular intervals after the leaders pass the finish line. A full listing will be provided within minutes of the last runner finishing. You will first be able to examine the full results listing online (a listing will appear on this site).
Presentations
The awards ceremony will be held in the finishing area as soon as is practical after all winners have been identified.
